The general objective is to develop a comprehensive long-term analysis of the electricity sector in Latin America with a horizon of 2050, which includes the status of the sector, the long-term development vision, investment needs, trends and developments, and the identification of projects that contribute to generating positive impacts, with a view to supporting the development of sustainable infrastructure by CAF and, in turn, strengthening the capacity of CAF member countries in defining policies public policies and sectoral investment strategies.
