The main objective of this consultancy is to investigate and evaluate suitable technologies for an investment plan in the Galapagos Islands in energy efficiency for the next ten years.
In addition, the consultant will carry out the dissemination of knowledge and institutional strengthening through a public awareness campaign and a training program for the Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR), Agency for the Regulation and Control of Energy and Non-Renewables Natural Resources (ARCERNNR), Government Council of the Galapagos Special Regime (CGREG) and the Galápagos Electric Power Company (ELECGALAPAGOS), emphasizing renewable energy technologies for the generation and development of investment activities in energy efficiency programs in the Islands.
